From Vincent van Gogh's 19th century Arles, to the sophisticated New York of Austrian Pop Art samurai Kiki Kogelnik, to the dream worlds of Swiss artist Albert Welti. The programme ranges from the hero of Swiss painting, Ferdinand Hodler, to the legendary Serbian "empress" of performance, Marina Abramović. From works of art whose beauty delights the audience to exhibitions with live actions that irritate and stimulate.
